Welcome back everyone. I can't beleive that we actually went a whole year without NHL hockey. And as strange as it may seem, I was so busy with my website business and household renovations that I actually really didn't miss it. However the juices are starting to flow in my veins now.

All of the new rule changes and the salary cap have really had an affect on the signings and Pittsburg has really taken advantage of it and have loaded up with some awesome talent. Lemieux , Recchi, Palffy, Crosby, LeClair, Gonchar... it is going to be real interesting to watch them go. I heard a rumor that the Metro Center were going to show all of Pittsburg's home games on the big screen at the Metro Centre. I'll have to confirm that. It would be cool to get some of us together to watch a few games.

We are determining what a free agent's position is at the time of pickup. We have agreed that we would be using CBS Sportsline - http://www.cbs.sportsline.com/nhl. The position will be the one stated on the Team Rosters web page, not the "Depth Chart" web page. There were a few discrepencies within each of these pages on the Sportsline site.
